Overview Summary: This is the fourth installation of Indiana Jones movies that has hit the silver screen. The adage that sequels aren’t as good as the original holds true still with this one, but this is still one heckuva fun, action packed, flick to sit through.

Our story finds Professor Jones once again on a wild chase, dodging villains, wild chase scenes and tantalizing ladies all in the search for an elusive and powerful crystal skull. And, it’s nice to see Karen Allen’s smile on the silver screen again.

You’ll enjoy this two hour thriller and expect some laughs, thrills and at the end, you may not think of the fellow creatures that occupy our universe in the same way you have in the past.

Now The Details: We start our movie in the era of Joe McCarthy’s paranoid communistic witch hunt. Needless to say, our Professor Jones isn’t politically correct, nor is he a communist, so he needs a reason to leave the scene and go on a quest for something of archeological significance.

News of the kidnapping of some close friends and the mystique of the finding of a mythical crystal skull sends our hero to the South American jungles where the adventures begin.

Now, I’m not going to ruin the story line for you before you go see it, but suffice it to say, we run into the ubiquitous bad guys in the strangest places, there’s lots of fights, chases, and mythical archeological lore that will at time stretch reality and boldly go into your imagination, but it does so in a very entertaining and edifying manner that you’re going to be on the edge of your chair for a large portion of the two hours this flick runs enjoying the chases, hunts and plot lines.

So, get a large popcorn and open that can of soda you snuck into the theater, because you’re in for two hours of a thrill, laughs and fun!

I’m Don Rima and that’s the way I saw it, From Where I Stand.
