Transporter 3 – The action doesn’t stop

Transporter 3 – The action doesn’t stop

Rated: PG-13 Time: 1:43

Stars: Natalya Rudakova, Jason Stratham and others

Final Grade: B-

Summary: Ever have one of those days where things are nice and peaceful, the water is calm for fishing and then all hell cuts loose and whatever can go wrong will and does? So starts the day for Frank Martin(Stratham) when someone crashes their car through a brick wall into his house. Martin, as you may already have derived from the title and two previous Transporter flicks, is a special courier of special package. In this case, the package is one incredibly sexy lass named Valentina(Rudakova) and her current courier has just been killed.

Come to find out, she’s the daughter of the head of the Ukraine’s Environmental Protection Agency and is actually being kidnapped and ridden around by the unknowing transporter while her father is being blackmailed into signing some contracts to allow some toxic waste to be dumped in the Ukraine.

The movie is packed with lots of action, some techno gee-wiz gadgetry and lots of car chase scenes as Martin and Valentina speed across Europe from Marseilles through Stuttgart and Budapest until he ends up on the Black Sea in Odessa. Meanwhile his fishing buddy and French police inspector is working the other side of the equation to provide police support figuring out just what is important about Valentina and saving the Ukraine’s EPA guy from having to sign some really bad contracts with the bad guys.

While fighting the bad guys and each other, Martin breaks his own rules and falls in love with Valentina which makes getting her back after losing her to the bad guys that much more urgent.

If you’re looking for James Bond, this isn’t your flick. But if you’re looking for a good story line with lots of car chase action, lots of fighting action and well, I have to admit, Rudakova brings some thought provoking heat of her own to the screen as well, then this flick is a good way to sit back and enjoy a matinee.

I’m Don Rima and that’s the way I saw it, From Where I Stand.
