Good-bye, OJ, Good-Bye!

Good-bye, OJ, Good-Bye! (And good riddance!)

Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately and haven’t heard, OJ Simpson is finally going to jail. Not for the original murder charges for which he was acquitted by a jury which, in my opinion, wouldn’t have convicted him even if he confessed in public court, but for being a compete stupid jerk idiot thinking he could muscle his way into armed robbery and get away with it.

Frankly I didn’t waste much time following this trial. Unlike the media and legal cluster (expletive deleted) that was a farce of a trial in Los Angeles many years ago, this judge and court in Las Vegas seemed to have their act totally together, managed the court and the case flow very professionally and the legal system seems to have finally worked the way it should have.

By the way, has anyone ever heard anything from that clueless juris-dolt Ito of late? I think he’s back in some cave hoping to perhaps come out as a spokesman for an insurance company. No sleep lost here.

Judge Jackie Glass has a reputation for no non-sense and serious penalties. She also runs a very efficient courtroom and is a credit to the judicial system. It’s very unfortunate that she wasn’t a judge in Los Angeles back with OJ was trying to be a media start and trying on gloves for a incompetent jury and TV audience. Perhaps we wouldn’t have had to deal with this second trial and saved Nevada tax payers some money.

Thanks Judge Glass for running a tight and efficient ship. And, OJ, good riddance! Give big ole Bubba my best, I’ll be sure to ship you a few extra bars of soap for Christmas.

…and the beat goes on…
