Sarah Palin’s biggest regret – not enough media interviews. You’ve got to be kidding!
Well, if this column sounds like I’m still laughing my butt off, it’s because I am. You see, former Republican VP wannabe, Sarah Palin, is now admitting that she feels her biggest mistake was not spending more time in media interviews. She further feels that she should have spoken more with reporters to make sure she got her message across to the people.
Uh, Sarah, we got your message. You and Dan Quayle are both clueless idiots and both in the same boat. We had one Dan Quayle as a VP, we didn’t want another one. Quayle was a major embarrassment to the Republican Party and the citizenry in general and it was incredibly scary that he was a heartbeat away from not only the football but the leadership of the free world!
Sarah, do yourself a favor – FORGET ABOUT 2012. It’s not going to happen. There’s no way that between now and then you can amass and assimilate all the information about domestic and foreign affairs, policies and current events that you would need to even be considered as a candidate for the primaries.
In the more than ample media interviews that you gave during the 2008 campaign, you showed just how clueless and inept you were about foreign and domestic issues and events. You’re not going to learn all that you need to in four years. Forget it. In the debates, you looked like a first year sorority pledge reciting a poorly written script and shaking pom-poms for her running mate.
Frankly, it was this ineptitude that helped bring down the McCain campaign. McCain made a business decision to bring you in as a partner to help run the biggest corporation in the world, the United States of America. You showed how clueless you were and in the eyes of the voters it showed that McCain made a bad business decision at a time when America can’t afford any more bad business decisions. This shed a cloud on McCain that he would never recover from.
One would hope that presidential candidates in the future actually pick running mates with not only SOME managerial experience at actually running thing, but also pick running mates that have a clue of what’s going on about them, what they’re going to face, what the current events and issues are, where they stand and where they want to go…and just don’t act like a dumb blond.

Well said
Gotta disagree with you on that one, Don. But it’s how you see it, not how I see it or how a lot of conservatives see it. I like her. I’d vote for her in a heartbeat. She’s got more experience running stuff than PEBO could ever dream of with his community organizing. And clearly, she doesn’t know how to play the Washington game, but that’s attractive to me.
That said, he’s the president and I support him. I hope he’ll do good things for the country. 2012 is a long way off and there’s a ton of variables. But I like Sarah.
Tami,
She’s evidently done well in and for Alaska, BUT, she came accross as a lightweight on the national and international scene. The fact seems to remain that one of the biggest reasons she was pricked at the VP candidate was that she was female with the hope of cashing in on the Hillary simpathy crowd. It didn’t work. And, as much as I don’t like Hillary, she’s alot more versed and experienced on the national and international scene.
Let’s be clear, I’m a conservative and I like keeping both my dollars AND my CHANGE in my own pocket.
