Look out HD TV, here comes 3-D TV – and it looks REALLY GOOD!
If there’s one thing that really stood out in the products being marketed last week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas last week, it was the 3-D HD screens.
OK, most of us have been to the movies and seen a flick in 3-D. There’s a lot of print pictures in 3-D. But in the near future, 3-D will be coming to a screen not only near you but in your home. And, it will have the clarity of what HD is now and even more, you’ll be able to flip back and forth between your old DVD’s, HD DVD’s and 3-D DVD’s with incredible ease.
Along with these new 3-D TV screens will come some superb audio systems so between the sound and the 3-D effects, you will almost be there.
Imagine, watching the Super Bowl, at home, in 3-D? With GREAT sound as well! It would put you in the game in your own living room and this is the whole idea.
The technology lineups shown at CES are nothing short of incredibly impressive as to where 3-D TV is going. You’re going to be absolutely impressed!
Perhaps after that, we’ll see some of the holography technology of the type that CNN demonstrated and prototyped the night of the election. But in time, the target of the viewing will be in your own home or office. Is this cool or what!?
