So, Let’s consider: Not accepting being short changed!

Well, guess what. Now that Trump has stopped minting pennies, SUDDENLY vendors don’t have the coinage to give us all the proper change for our transaction. Suddenly, for some reason, they don’t have any more pennies and claim they can’t find them. And to add further insult to injury, they’re all expecting US to EAT the difference and ACCEPT BEING SHORT CHANGED!

I’m calling BULLSHIT on this!

Twice in the last week I’ve had vendors tell me that they’re intentionally NOT giving me the correct change because they don’t have any pennies and they’re expecting ME to willfully accept their new business practice of having ME eat the difference. “We don’t want to take the loss” or “It’s only a couple cents” … Right! THEN YOU PAY IT!

First if was Burger King then today it was Mapco. When I refused to accept their inability to provide change and insisted that THEY round the change up to the next NICKEL, directly told me where to go, how to get there and what to do when I got there!

I REFUSE to eat the difference and I would heavily encourage you to refuse to eat the difference as well! There’s plenty of pennies out there and always has been! It’s not our job to increase any vendors profit margin just because they refuse to provide correct change.

I REFUSE to be short changed because of their inept business procedures. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Businesses can plan on ROUNDING UP my change to the next nickel if they don’t want to keep proper coinage available and YOU SHOULD INSIST ON THIS AS WELL!

If they want to call the cops, GO FOR IT, my vehicle isn’t leaving the line until I get my change! I have plenty of reading material with me at all times, so that’s not a problem for me!

It’s not my job to artificially bolster your profit margin. It’s their job to not intentionally short change me! Frankly, it’s called THEFT!
